My goal has always been to be among the best globally in whatever I do but I felt I could no longer be that as an engineer, considering the resources at my disposal. As a result, I did my internship in an automobile repair company but still wasn’t satisfied with what I learned.

I lost interest in it in my third year because, in my opinion, I wasn’t being taught relevant practicals. I picked mechanical engineering as my course of study because I wanted to make cars.

“But why change careers?” You might want to ask.

I am now pursuing a product management career even though I studied mechanical engineering in my bachelor’s and was a good engineering student - in fact, one of the best. It’s #ThrowbackThursday, and it’s a good day to talk about my engineering background.
